Aston Villa are interested in signing the highly-rated Bayer Leverkusen and Jamaican winger Leon Bailey.

Bailey, 23, scored 15 goals and provided 11 assists for Leverkusen last season playing predominantly on the right. He can also play across a front three and fits the profile Aston Villa want.

Villa want to sign another attacking player despite bringing in Emi Buendia from Norwich, and have seen several bids rejected for Arsenal’s Emile Smith-Rowe.

The Daily Mail claim Villa have now moved on and Sky Sports News has corroborated their report that Bailey, who has been offered to Premier League clubs this summer, is among their targets.
