Vihiga Bullets head coach Evans Mafuta is hopeful that is team can record their first win of the season in the FKFPL when they come up against mailmen Posta Rangers on Friday.

The two sides will clash at the Thika Municipal Stadium from 3.00 PM and ahead of the tie, Mafuta is optimistic that his side can get the job done.

Bullets played to a 0-0 draw against Bidco United in their first match of the season.

The team then went down 1-0 in a friendly match against Mombasa Elites.

“We did not have a proper pre-season but that is not an excuse. I have asked my players to go out there and compete. It’s just a game like any other. Posta Rangers is a tough side but we are up to the task and my charges will be seeking to do the best and possibly pick three maximum points” said Mafuta ahead of the Rangers match.
