Kenyan Champions Tusker FC began their CAF Champions League campaign with a 1-1 draw away to Arta Solar 7 in a match played on Saturday at Djibouti’s El Hadji Hassan Gouled Stadium.

The match saw Tusker new boys Daniel Sakari, Kalos Kirenge, Joshua Ibrahim and Charles Momanyi all make their competitive debuts for the side.

Tusker were the first to score through new signing Ibrahim Joshua in the 14th minute before Alain Traore drew Arta level two minutes later through a well taken free kick.

Tusker will hope they can progress to the next round when they welcome Arta for the second leg in Nairobi on September 19.
