Nick Mwendwa and his legal team opposed plea taking to fraud charges saying that the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) President’s rights have been violated by the police and Director of Public Prosecution (DPP).

Appearing at the Milimani Law Courts after spending the weekend behind bars, Mwendwa failed to take plea and will spend another night at the Gigiri Police Station with Milimani Senior Principal Magistrate Eunice set to give a ruling on whether to admit the charge sheet against him.

Mwendwa is facing four counts of fraudulent acquisition of public property worth Kes. 37.7M between March and May 2021.
