FKFPL side Gor Mahia has sought the services of Posta Rangers head coach Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omollo ahead of their CAF Champions League clash against Rwandan giants APR.

Omollo will take charge of things for K’ogallo against APR after their head coach Robertinho Oliveira was barred from sitting at the dugout for lacking proper documentation.

The Brazilian does not have the ‘CAF A License’ which is required for all coaches managing continental competitions.

According to an official statement by Gor, plans are underway to equalize coach Roberto Oliviera’s qualifications at CAF.

“We have settled on Sammy Omollo to be the stand in coach for the team in Rwanda as we try to sort out the current coach’s (Roberto) issue with CAF. That means, Sammy will lead the technical bench as Roberto is not allowed to be on the touchline until the issue is sorted” Said Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachier.

Gor will leave the country for Kigali, Rwanda this week ahead of the preliminary round first leg clash.
