Harambee Starlets’ Mwanahalima “Dogo” Adam has signed for Turkish side Hakkarigucu Spor.
Dogo has signed a one year loan deal with the Hakkâri based side. She joins the team from Kenyan Women Premier League champions, Thika Queens.
Confirming the move, Thika Queens Team manager Fredrick Chege told the Nation that ‘Dogo’ has been working really had but hasn’t been lucky to sign for a top team.
“Dogo is a good player and we are proud of her, she just hasn’t gotten her luck with a good club yet but we are now hoping that she will be able to settle in just fine and gain the much needed international experience. We also hope that the federation will support her movement to and from Turkey when called up to the national team,” said Chege.
Hakkarigücü Spor play their home matches at the Merzan Stadium. The team was founded in 1989.
