Posta Rangers head coach Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omollo has stated that he remains committed to the Mailmen despite various reports linking him to a permanent stay at Gor Mahia.

Speaking to the press after Gor’s 2-1 loss to Algerian side CR Belouizdad in the return leg of the CAF Champions League at the Nyayo Stadium, Omollo also said that it is a great honour to be with Gor.

“I have a contract with Posta Rangers that I intend to honor but It’s always a big honor to be with Gor Mahia family. Let’s see what will happen in future,” he said.

Omollo has been the stand in coach for Gor Mahia who don’t have a qualified coach to handle CAF matches. He guided the team to the second Preliminary round of the CAF champions League and will now be hoping he can help them make the CAF Confederations group stages.

Despite the demolition at the hands of Belouizdad, it is reported that the Gor Mahia hierarchy is interested in tying him down to a permanent deal that will see him lead the team as they aim to defend their title this season.
