Belgium and Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku has stated that he remains committed to Serie A champions Inter Milan and as such, he won’t be leaving despite being linked with a move to the English Premier League.

Lukaku has been linked with a move to either Chelsea or Manchester City following the departure of manager Antonio Conte.

Speaking to the Belgium media, Lukaku said: “Yes, I am staying. I’ve already had contact with our new manager. Maybe I shouldn’t say that yet… but it was a very positive conversation.

“There’s also the challenge of doing it again (winning the league with Inter). I feel good at Inter.”

Lukaku was voted Serie A’s Most Valuable Player award and scored 30 goals and recorded 10 assists in 44 appearances across all competitions for the side.

Lukaku is valued at around £100m by Inter and they want to cash in on at least one of their high-profile players, which was part of the reason behind Conte’s decision to quit as manager last week.
