Kenyan internationals David ‘Calabar’ Owino, Abud Omar and Ismael Athuman Gonzalez believe that Harambee Stars have all it takes to beat Mali.

Kenya take on Les Aigles on Thursday, October 7, 2021,10 pm at the Grande Stade d’Agadir in Morocco with hopes of causing a major upset to boost chances of making it to Qatar for the FIFA World Cup in 2022.

Napsa Stars’ David Owino has said that the teams considered ‘small’ have managed to pull some great performances in the past and with that, Harambee Stars have the self belief they can do something special in Morocco.

“In football there is no more big and small teams nowadays but your preparation towards it is the key,” he said.

Abud Omar and Gonzalez said that they will put in a great shift for the National team and prove to the world that Kenya is also a great footballing nation.

“They have a good team and we also have a good one so we will play to the best of our ability and see the outcome,” said Omar.

Mali tops Group E on 4 points while Kenya is second on 2 points.
