Defending Kenyan Champions Gor Mahia have roped in another Brazilian striker to the club.
Wilson Silva Fonseca has joined K’Ogallo from Brazilian side Fortaleza Esporte Clube.
He becomes the third Brazilian to ever sign for Gor. The other two are Thiago Lima da Silva and Giovanni Rodriguez.
So Who is Fonseca?
Age: 20 years
Stats: According to playermakerstats, Fonseca has played 21 games across four clubs and scored five goals in the process.
He began his career at Brazilian side Elite CD (played 7 games and scored 0 goals). He then signed for Sinop’s under 19 side but made no appearances after which he moved to Taboao Da Serra and made six appearances for the under 19s. He scored 3 goals.
A loan move to Fortaleza followed and here, he made six appearances for the under 20 and scored two goals.
Fortaleza signed him on a permanent deal and before moving to Gor, he had made two appearances for the under 23 and scored no goals.
