Tanzanian giants Simba SC have parted ways with head coach Didier Gomes Da Rosa.
According to an official statement from the club, Didier resigned from his role as head coach and after an in depth discussion, the club and the coach mutually agreed on the terms of their separation.
This comes just days after the club was bundled out of the CAF Champions League by Botswana side Jwaneng Galaxy after a 3-1 loss at the Mkapa Stadium in Dar.
Jwaneng made it to the group stages thanks to the Away goal rule after a 3-3 draw on aggregate.
Thierry Hitimana has been appointed as Interim head coach and he will be assisted by Selemani Matola.
Simba has also parted ways with goalkeeping Coach Milton Nienov and Fitness Coach Adel Zrane.
