Kenyan side Vihiga Queens will face Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, ASFAR of Morocco and Rivers Angels FC of Nigeria in the group stages of the inaugural CAF Women’s Champions League.

Vihiga will take on winners of the COSAFA qualifiers Mamelodi Sundowns in their first match of the tournament.

A draw confirming the group pairings took place at CAF headquarters in Cairo on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.

In group A, hosts Wadi Degla FC will take on Mali’s AS Mande in the first match of the tournament.

Other teams in the group are Malabo King’s FC of Equatorial Guinea and Hasaacas Ladies FC of Ghana.

The final tournament will take place from November 5 to 19 in Cairo.
