FKFPL side Wazito FC has completed the signing of goalkeeper Mustafa Oduor from Vihiga United.
Oduor joins Wazito on a long-term deal and is seen as the perfect replacement of Fredrick Odhiambo who left for Sofapaka.
“I definitely feel happy to be here. Wazito is a great club with big ambitions and I am proud to be part of this project. I am here to make the team perform well by competing and I will definitely be fighting for the starting berth,” said the former Nzoia Sugar and Bandari man.
Wazito’s goalkeeping coach Sam Koko said that Oduor’s arrival is a great boost for his side as “He is a quality keeper who has gathered invaluable experience from the teams he has played for”.
“I believe that he will make the goalkeeping department better by competing with the keepers we already have in the team,” he added.
Oduor is Wazito’s 10th signing this window.
The club had earlier confirmed deals for talented winger Cliff Nyakeya from Egyptian side, FC Masr, midfielder Tyson Otieno from Mathare United, Omar Zamu Adisa – From Bidco United, Bonface Owino – From Kayole Youth FC, Erickson Mulu Kivuva – From Malaga City FC, Spain, James Kinyanjui from Mathare United, Amos Ekhalie from Finnish club, IFK Mariehamn, Swaleh Hamisi from Coast Stima and Eric Gichimu from Bidco United.
