KPL Side AFC Leopards have landed the services of Ugandan International Benjamin Ochan.
The 29 year old Uganda Cranes goalkeeper joins the den in a one year deal days after Ingwe parted ways with last season’s number one shot stopper Erick Ndayishimiye who was released alongside 7 others.
Ingwe’s new man also had his contract with Zambian Side Kabwe Warriors terminated on mutual consent and as such, he moves to the den as a free agent.
Ochan joined Kabwe Warriors in 2018 from Ugandan champions KCCA.
His Professional football journey began with Entebbe Young FC after which he sealed a move to Danish side Aarhus in 2007. He stayed with the club for a season but after failing to establish himself in the team he left and returned to Uganda where he joined KCCA.
He lasted at the capital-based side for two years before he left the country for South African side Bloemfontein Celtic. His stay in South Africa was equally unsuccessful and after a season he returned home joining Sports Club Villa. He later had a short stint with Sports Club Victoria University before returning to KCCA in 2015 where he lasted until 2018 when he departed for Zambia
Ochan becomes Ingwe’s third signing this window after the arrival of Burundian Tresor Ndikumana and Nzoia Sugar forward, Hansel Ochieng.
With Ingwe having released Eight players, Coach Casa Mbungo confirmed that they hope to bring in the same number throughout the transfer window as the club aims to better last season’s 11th place finish.
