Morocco made it back-to-back victories in Group C after thrashing Comoros 2-0 on Friday evening.

The Atlas Lions saw off Ghana 1-0 goal margin in their Group C opener, while Comoros succumbed 1-0 against Gabon.

The Moroccans maintained their 100 per cent record AFCON start thanks to Salim Amallah’s 16th minute strike, before Zakaria Aboukhlal doubled their lead to seal the win in second half stoppage time.

Gabon 1-1 Ghana
The Black Stars remain winless at the Africa Cup of Nations after 1-1 draw against Gabon at the Stade Omnisport Ahmadou Ahidjo on Friday evening.

Gabon were without the services of Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Mario Lamina due to COVID-19.

Ghana took the lead in the 18th minute with a superb strike from distance courtesy of Andre Ayew, who has now scored 23 goals for Ghana in 101 caps and 10 gaols at AFCON.

The Black Stars were minutes away from snatching three points until Jim Allevinah scored the equaliser for Gabon with barely two minutes left on the clock.
