Despite being dropped by head coach Sebastien Migne from Kenya’s final AFCON Squad, Kakamega Homeboyz Striker Allan Wanga is still full of love for the Kenyan National Team.

The former Tusker FC man has said that Harambee Stars still got what it takes to post great results in the remaining AFCON fixtures against Tanzania and Senegal.

Kenya will take on Tanzania this Thursday from 11PM E.A.T at the June 30 Stadium in Cairo, Egypt.

Ahead of the clash, Wanga will be among Kenyans cheering for Harambee Stars from Egypt after he travelled to the Arab Nation on Wednesday.

Confirming his travelling plans, Wanga wished the team well ahead of their two very important assignments.

“I will be joining the rest of the fans to support the team in Egypt and want to wish the team all the best in their remaining matches. I feel the team has what it takes to bounce back and perform well in the two remaining matches,” Said Wanga who was speaking to a Local Daily.

The former Azam FC striker added that it is time the country showed the continent the quality at their disposal.

“Kenya has the potential and should also emulate other countries from this region who have come out strongly to shock the so-called big teams in Africa with their brilliant displays and great confidence,” he added.

A Win for Kenya against Tanzania will help revive the team’s hopes of making it to the knockout phases of the competition.

A loss on the other hand will all but dent Kenya’s campaign ahead of the final Group C Match against Senegal.
