Sofapaka duo Lawrence Juma and Fredrick Odhiambo join Rwandese giants AS Kigali on a two-year contract deal.

AS Kigali are currently managed by former AFC Leopards and Bandari FC Andre Cassa Mbungo and will be playing in the 2022/23 CAF Confederation Cup following their 1-0 win against rivals APR FC in the Rwanda Peace Cup to secure their continental ticket.

Earlier reports had revealed that Juma, would leave the club after his two-year contract with Batoto ba Mungu and had turned down new contract extension.

The former Nakuru All-Stars and Nzoia Sugar midfielder joined Sofapaka before the start of the 2021/22 season on a two-year deal from Gor Mahia FC.

Meanwhile, former Wazito Fc goalkeeper Odhiambo is set to ditch the club barely one-year after joining them on a two-year deal.
