Kenya’s Ayub Timbe Masika has extended his stay at English Championship side Reading FC.
Timbe’s deal was set to expire on Tuesday, June 30, 2020.
Reading FC boss Mark Bowen has however confirmed the immediate future of Timbe and four other players currently on loan at the club.
Apart from Timbe, Ovie Ejaria, Matt Miazga, Pele and Lucas Boye have all extended their deals until the end of the prolonged 2019-20 season.
Reading will however lose Danny Loader who turned down a new deal, with the young striker leaving the club as a free agent yesterday (Tuesday).
Timbe signed for Reading on an initial 6 month loan deal from chinese side Beijing Renhe.
He has made appearances against Sheffield Wednesday, Barnsley and Derby County while being unused against Wigan Athletic, Birmingham and Brentford. His side is currently 16th on the 24-team League log.
