Bandari FC head coach Andre Casa Mbungo has revealed that the dockers will be out to bag maximum points when they come up against AFC Leopards at the Mbaraki Sports Club in a FKFPL match on Friday.

Mbungo will be up against his former employers who sit 4th on the league standings with the clash being his 6th league game since he joined Bandari in January.

โ€œWe need to win this clash and get other three points against Vihiga United on Tuesday at home for us to climb up the ladder to a respectable position in the table,โ€ said Mbungo.

AFC Leopards’ players resumed training ahead of the tie after initially going on strike over unpaid salaries and will hope they can build on their recent great performances in search of three points at the Coast.

The team beat Tiki FC 6-0 in a FKF Betway match. This was new coach Patrick Aussems first game in charge and the Belgian tactician will be out to get a win on his league debut.

“I have seen my team play against Gor and Tiki and I have high hopes to do better when we play Bandari,” said Aussems after the Tiki game.

Bandari are currently 7th on the league standings with 16 points after playing 11 games. They will welcome back Yema Mwana and Darius Msagha from injury.

โ€œMwana and Msagha have recovered and can play,โ€ confirmed Mbungo.
