FC Barcelona and Juventus FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of Arthur Melo. The Italian club will pay Braca 72 million euros, plus 10 million euros in variables.

An exchange deal between Barca and Juve has been in the works over the past week. The Spanish side has been keen to trade off 23 year old Arthur for 30 year old Miralem Pjanic.

Arthur will remain at FC Barcelona until the end of the 2019/20 season.

Arthur arrived at FC Barcelona in the summer of 2018 from Grêmio. The Brazilian midfielder has played 72 games for Barça until now: 47 in the league, 10 in the Copa del Rey, 13 in the Champions League and one in the Spanish Super Cup.

The Brazilian midfielder, who has four goals from his two seasons at the club, scored his first goal against Osasuna in the league and has won two titles with Barça; the league and the Spanish Super Cup in the 2018/19 season.
