Bayern Munich and Manchester City have agreed a £55 million deal for want-away German winger Leroy Sane. The Bavarian side will pay an initial £45 million and a subsidiary £10 million in additional clauses. It is reported that Sane will sign a 5-year contract worth £350,000 a week in wages.

The former Schalke 04 player has hardly featured for the English reigning champions this season after suffering an anterior crucial ligament injury in August during the Community shield match against Liverpool.

He has only made one further apperance since then, an 11-minute cameo in the 5-0 demolition of burnley at the Etihad.

Bayern will be relieved to have secured the German international after their interest in securing winger proved futile in one of the longest dragging transfers.

Sane is travelling to Bavaria for medical but wont be able to feature for the Hans Dieter Flick coached side until next season. Manchester City have inserted a 10% sell-on-clause should he be sold by Bayern in future.

In other transfer news, Inter Milan are close to securing the services of Real Madrid and immediate Borussia Dortmund loanee Achraf Hakimi for a reported fee of £36 million plus add-ons.

The Moroccan international has arrived in the Italian capital to complete a medical and if successful, he is due to sign a five year deal.
