Gor Mahia striker Benson Omalla struck in injury time to give Kenya under 20 a hard fought 2-1 win over a resilient Sudan.

After a goalless first half, the Rising Stars were first to take a well deserved lead through Fortune Omoto midway through the second half.

However, the goal seems to have jolted the Sudanese boys as they camped in the Kenyan half. Their efforts paid off with an equaliser coming in the 83rd minute setting up a very tense finish.

But Omalla ensured Kenya finished on top of Group C with a well taken goal in the second minute of injury time. The striker has now scored two goals in as many matches.
