FKF Premier League defending champions Tusker FC have acquired the services of Bidco United FC goalkeeper, Brian Opondo.
The Thika-based club confirmed the departure of their first-choice goalkeeper to Tusker.
Opondo has been spotted training with the Brewers for the last few weeks amid Patrick Matasi uncertain future. Matasi has been linked with Police FC move and has vowed not attend Robert Matano’s side pre-season training.
According to Bidco head coach Anthony Akhulia the former Kariobangi Sharks stopper has signed with Tusker after two seasons with them.
“Opondo is no longer with us, he is now with Tusker FC and that means we will be in the market to beef up that department,” he said via Mozzart Sport.
Akhulia also disclosed that they are in the transfer market and they have poached their top transfer targets and talks ongoing.
“We have identified the players that we are going to add to the team, we are negotiating with them and their clubs and we will make things public at the right time,” he added.
