Kenyan Premier League aristocrats Gor Mahia have been drawn against DC Motema Pembe of Congo in the CAF Confederation Cup play-off.
The continental tournament enters its second preliminary round with the first leg being played on 27th October 2019, and the return leg slated for 3rd November 2019.
Gor were forced to drop from the CAF Champions League after succumbing to a 6-1 defeat on aggregate against USM Alger.
It was K’Ogalo’s third consecutive attempt to try and reach the lucrative Group Stages of the prestigious club competition in Africa. Gor have been eliminated at the same stage on each occasion.
The other Kenyan club in the competition, Bandari FC, have been drawn against Guinea side Horoya AC.
The Dockers will be travelling to Guinea for the first leg and will be keen on making history by advancing to the group stages of the CAF Confederations Cup for the first time in the club’s history.
The first legs of the competition will be played on October 27th, 2019 with the return legs scheduled a week later( 3rd November 2019.)
