Carlos Tevez began his coaching career after being named first-team coach of Argentine giants Rosario Central in his first managerial post.

The former Manchester United forward has been handed his first managerial role since his retirement from professional football as the Argentine has bagged a top deal with Rosario Central.

Tevez only announced his retirement earlier this month bringing to an end a spectacular playing career that spanned over two decades and included over 300 club goals.

Tevez has been entrusted with a one-year deal by Argentine club and will be assisted by Carlos Retegui.

Tevez, who played for seven seasons in the English Premier League, withdrew from the game in 2021 after losing his father to Covid-19 but has now returned to the game in his first managerial role.

Tevez had a successful football career and played for some of the best teams in the world including Manchester United, Manchester City, West Ham United, Juventus and Boca Juniors.
