FKF Women Premier League set for weekend resumption

The FKF Women Premier League resumes this weekend with the second leg set to kick off on Saturday, July 13, 2019, across different venues.

This follows a one month transfer window recess that allowed clubs to bolster their ranks ahead of the league’s resumption.

Among matches lined up is a doubleheader at Camp Toyoyo on Sunday.

League leaders Gaspo Youth will be in action on Sunday at the Camp Toyoyo against debutants Kibera Soccer Academy.

Gaspo top the standings with 36 points having played a game more than second place Trans Nzoia Falcons who have 30 points after 11 games.

Defending champions Vihiga Queens are 3rd with 27 points from 10 games played.

At the opposite end of the log, Makolanders lie bottom with just one win from nine matches played.
