Moussa Dembele is keen to join Manchester United despite only spending a year in France with Lyon.
The 23-year-old forward moved back to his native France after impressing with Celtic, the club he joined after spending three years in the first-team at Fulham.
The robust striker is now keen to return to England, with Lyon struggling in Ligue 1.
ESPN have claimed that Dembele will favour a move to a top Premier League club rather than saying at Parc Olympique Lyonnais, and international colleague Boubakary Soumare could also join Solskjaer’s side.
The Norwegian boss is braced for the wantaway Paul Pogba to once again try and force through a move to Real Madrid in the summer, and scouts have that Soumare could take his place at Old Trafford.
Soumare has made 40 league appearances for Lille since joining in 2017, and has represented his country at six different youth levels.
The youngster is said to be rated around £33million, but he could join up for free in the summer as he approaches the end of his current contract.
