KPL moneybags Wazito FC will miss the services of four players in their upcoming League game against Awendo based Sony Sugar FC.
Bernard Ochieng, Teddy Osok, Abouba Sibomana, and Derrick Onyango have all been ruled out due to various injuries.
This will be the second match in a row that Teddy and Derrick won’t take part in having missed last weekend’s goalless draw against Mailmen Posta Rangers at the Narok Stadium. The duo are nursing Knee and foot problems respectively.
“Teddy and Derrick are unavailable for Tomorrow’s game. They are still nursing injuries and are not ready to play yet,” Wazito team physio Noel Mandi told the Club’s official website.
Former Vihiga United defender Bernard Ochieng picked a knee injury during Wazito’s clash against Posta Rangers while Abouba Sibomana suffered the same fate during a midweek friendly against NSL side Mt. Kenya United.
“Bernard has a knee issue and we are still monitoring him. He picked it during our match against Posta Rangers and he is out of tomorrow’s game. Sibomana has a foot issue, he got stepped on against Mt. Kenya United and he is also sidelined for tomorrow’s match,” added Mandi.
Coach Melis Medo will be looking to bag his first win as Wazito coach having fired blanks last time out.
Wazito have only won once this season and as such, a win will help reduce the pressure from club president Ricardo Badoer.
After Seven games, Wazito lies 13th on the KPL log on 7 points having won one, drew four and lost two.
The match will kick off at 10 AM and will be live on Madgoat TV
