Notorious Gor Mahia FC in another controversial player contract termination saga.
Mali and former Gor Mahia goalkeeper Adama Keita has reported the club to the football governing body, FIFA as he demands the club to settle his dues after the record Kenyan Premier League champions ‘unfairly’ terminated his deal.
According to reports, Keita filled complaint against Gor towards the end of last season after they failed to settle his monthly dues as was signed by the two parties, FIFA yet to make final statement.
Keita alongside Cameroonian striker Yangayay Sando Sando were shown exit door by the club. The duo joined K’Ogalo on a two-year deal.
“I signed a two-year contract and they [Gor Mahia] have clearly breached it further by dropping me. My request to them is that they pay me my money so that everyone moves on, this back and forth isn’t helping anyone,” he said as quoted by Mozzart Sport.
After dropping Sando and Keita, K’Ogalo yet to make a signing but instead have promoted a few stars from the youth team as they prepare for the new season.
