Kenya Premier League Champions have confirmed their fifth signing with midfielder Sydney Ochieng’ joining the Steven Polack coached side.
Ochieng has joined Gor from troubled Western Stima and has put pen to paper on a four-year deal.
Before joining Western Stima, Ochieng played for Tusker FC. He now takes a new challenge at Gor hoping he will help the team perform well in different competitions.
‘’I am happy to join Gor Mahia. It’s a big challenge because this is a club that has been performing well and a big club in the country, so l have to work extra hard to help the team stay up there and deliver in CAF competition,” said Ochieng’.
“I feel no pressure at all… I know most of the players in the team because we have played together previously. I believe they will guide me” he added.
Ochieng has set his sights on lifting the Premier League as well as earning a call up to the National team during his time at Kogallo.
Ochieng becomes Kogallo’s fifth signing after that of goalkeeper Levis Opiyo from Nairobi City Stars, Tito Okello from Vipers SC,winger James Macharia and Andrew Juma from Mathare United.
