Kenya Premier League champions Gor Mahia are set to go to the polls on 8th August, 2020. The decision to conduct elections was arrived at during the club’s executive meeting held on Tuesday.

The upcoming polls will be conducted according to the provisions of the new constitution.

According to the new constitution which was passed early this year, club members will only elect four officials as opposed to the previous elections that saw 12 officials elected.

Registered members of the club will on Tuesday elect; Chairman, vice chairman, secretary general and Honorary treasurer.

Gor Chairman Ambrose Rachier has called on fans to register as members in order for them to take part in the polls.

“We will be having our club’s elections on the 8th of August and in view of the biting Covid-19 pandemic, electronic method of voting will be used and only registered members will be allowed to vote. We advise fans to register as members in order to participate in such a process,” Said Rachier.


To become a member, one needs to pay an annual non-refundeble fee of Kshs 1200, using MPESA Pay Bill number 350100, with ID number as account number.
