Kenya Premier League Champions Gor Mahia through CEO Lodvick Aduda have confirmed that the club has released a total of seven players so far heading into the new season.

According to the club’s official website, the players released are: Castro Ogendo – midfielder, Erisa Ssekisambu – forward, Pascal Ogweno – central defender, Cercidy Okeyo – central midfielder, Shaban Odhoji – goalkeeper, Francis Kahata – attacking midfielder and Jacques Tuyisenge – forward.

Francis Kahata joined Tanzanian giants Simba SC in Tanzania.

Talismanic Striker Jacques Tuyisenge is on his way to Angolan top tier side Petro Atletico.

It is not yet clear where the likes of Ssekisambu and Pascal Ogweno will be plying their trade next season as details of their next moves remain scanty.

Gor Mahia has wished the seven outgoing players all the best in their future endeavors even as it thanked them for their service and dedication during their stay at the club.

Kogallo are currently in Rwanda taking part in the ongoing Cecafa Kagame Cup.

Gor won their first match 2-1 against As Maniema from DR Congo with Ochieng Wellington and Omondi Boniface getting the goals for Kogallo.

The Hassan Oktay led side also won their second match 2-0 against AS Ports of Djibouti with Boniface Omondi and new boy Dennis Oalo bagging the much needed goals.

Apart from Oalo, Gor have also landed the services of Curtis Wekesa, Tobias Otieno, Elvis Ronack and Abdalla Shira.

The Club also recently completed the signing of Tanzanian pair of Singida United keeper David Kissu and winger Dickson Ambundo from Alliance FC.
