Gor Mahia head coach Steven Polack has returned to the Country from Finland where he had gone for a one week vacation.

Polack left the country after guiding Gor Mahia to the summit of the KPL and officials at the club felt that it was right for him to take what they referred to as a deserved vacation.

The English born tactician who also holds a Finnish Citizenship has already resumed duties and was on Monday at Camp Toyoyo to oversee Gor Mahia’s training.

There had been earlier reports that Polack might not return just like his predecessor Hassan Oktay who left for his native home of Turkey but never returned.

Well, Polack who has had a perfect start to life in the Kenya Premier League is back and is already looking forward to Gor Mahia’s next assignment.

Kogallo will next take on Kariobangi Sharks in the KPL.

On the Continental Stage, the team has been drawn with DC Motema Pembe of Congo in the CAF Confederation Cup play-off.

The continental tournament enters its second preliminary round with the first leg being played on 27th October 2019, and the return leg slated for 3rd November 2019.
