Gor Mahia head coach Mark Harrison is fully focused on the upcoming CAF Confederations Cup tie against Sudan’s Al-Ahly Merowe.

Gor and Merowe will meet at the Nyayo Stadium on Sunday for the return leg of their tie after K’Ogallo won the first leg 1-3 in Egypt.

Gor head to the match after a morale boosting 1-0 win over rivals AFC Leopards in the Football Kenya Premier League (FKFPL).

Coach Harrison is however focused on the upcoming continental assignment and does not want to dwell so much on the Mashemeji derby win.

‘’The derby is done and behind us now. My focus is now on the CAF duty ahead of us on Sunday. I rested almost half of the first team players to allow them to focus on the Sunday game, and this also gave opportunities for other players to prove their worth,’’ Harrison said.

Coach Harrison rested players like Gad Mathews, Harun Shakava, Philemon Otieno and Samwel Onyango during the derby.

“There is no way we are going to be complacent. We know we are 3-1 up but we got to finish the job” he added.
