Gor Mahia have completed the signing of Ugandan attacker Tito Okello from Vipers SC.
Tito decided not to renew his contract at Vipers despite helping the team lift the league title last season
Apart from Vipers, he has also had stints with Tanzania’s African Lyon, Mbeya City FC, KCCA and Hong Kong side Benfica Makau.
Okello will help bolster a Kogallo attack that has seen the departures of the likes of Yikpe, Afiriye and Boniface Omondi who recently joined Wazito FC.
After his move to Gor was made official, Tito took time to thank his former club Vipers SC and wished them well in their future endeavors.
Below is his open letter:
Tito adds to the list of Ugandan players who have played for Gor Mahia. They are: Jimmy Bageya, Godfrey Walusimbi, Daniel Muzeyi Sserunkuma, Khalid Aucho, Shafiq Batambuze, Erisa Ssekisambu, Hashim Ssempala, Juma Balinya among others.
Gor Mahia will be looking forward to adding more signings as the club prepares to defend the league title next season and take part in the CAF Champions League.
