Gor Mahia are out of the CAF Champion League after going down 2-1 (8-1 on aggregate) when they faced Algerian side CR Belouizdad at the Nyayo National Stadium.

Gor looked the better side in the first half and took the lead through Jules Ulimwengu (19).

Captain Kenneth Muguna picked out Ulimwengu who slot the ball in between the Belouizdad keeper’s legs for the opener.

Things however took a different turn in the second half with Belouizdad scoring 2 goals with 13 minutes to go.

Amir Sayoud got a goal (78) and an assist to send Gor back to the Confederations cup.

Abdelkader Belharane scored six minutes later to help his side book a group stage spot for the first time since 2001.
