FKF Premier League giants Gor Mahia FC on Friday officially unveiled former Uganda, Rwanda and Sierra Leone Head Coach Jonathan Mckinstry as their new manager.

The 37-year-old Northern Irish international was unveiled by the record Kenyan Champions chairman Ambrose Rachier on Friday 29 July 2022.

“The opportunity to lead Gor Mahia is something that has interested me for several years, ever since I first visited the club in 2016 whilst Head Coach of Rwanda. The stature of the Club, combined with its significant and passionate fan base place them as one of the leading clubs on the continent. To be trusted with the responsibility of guiding them back to success is a task that I relish,” Mckinstry commented on his new role.

Mckinstry join K’Ogalo on a two-year deal from German, Andreas Spiers who left the club at the end of the season. The Irishman is a UEFA Pro License holder.
