Harambee Stars midfielder Johana Omollo compensated by his former Turkish League side, Club Kocaelispor.

Omollo joined Kocaelispor in August 2021 on a one-year deal from BB Erzurumspor before his deal with the club was cut short but according to Sport41, Omollo and his former employers have settled their differences.

Free agent Omollo and Cameroon international Georges Mandjeck who since found new club in Cyprus were some of the big names that were axed by the club.

“A mutual payment commitment was made with Kenyan Johana Omollo and Cameroonian Georges Mandjeck, who played in Kocaelispor,” the source disclosed.

“The green and black management made this payments and deposited approximately 40 thousands Euros {KES. 4.8M} into the accounts of the players. Thus, the files of both were completely closed.”

The Kenyan international has had predominantly a taste of European football starting his journey in Belgium where he featured for CS Vise, Beerschot AC, Lommel United, Royal Antwerp and Cercle Brugge before making a move to the Turkish League where he represented CS Fola and BB Erzurumspor among others.
