FKF Premier League outfit KCB FC have confirmed the signing of midfielder Danson Chetambe from Bandari FC and former Ulinzi Stars FC defender Harun Mwale. The duo join the Bankers on a one-year deal.

Free agent Chetambe announced his Bandari departure last week before linking up with Zedekiah Otieno’s side on a one-year contract deal.

He will partners in the central midfield together with Brian Ochieng, experienced Michael Mutinda, Samuel Mwangi and Mohamed Kilume.

Kakamega Homeboyz and Tusker were some of the top flight teams who inquired about Chetambe but he opted to sign for the Bankers, according to Mozzart Sport.

“It is true I have signed for KCB. There were offers from other teams but I chose KCB after talks with the club management and also other consulting a few people. I believe that it is the best club for me and I am looking forward to getting started,” Chetambe told Mozzart Sport.

Meanwhile, on Saturday Ulinzi Stars FC confirmed Harun Mwale’s departure after five years with the Soldiers, wishing him all the best as he explores next challenge.

“Thank you Harun Mwale #30. Thank you also to St Joseph Nakuru who allowed us to sign #30 marauding left back. He has had a stellar journey from the young player he was to a machine with several International caps now under his belt. Over to you KCB FC,” Ulinzi Stars FC wrote on their social media.
