The international friendly match between Kenya and the Chipolopolo of Zambia will be aired on TV. Confirming the latest developments, Football Kenya Federation chairman Nick Mwendwa revealed that the upcoming game will be the first to be televised by Startimes following it’s latest 7-year deal with the Football governing body.

“…And harambee stars opens the show with Zambia on 10th October. Football is back bigger and better!..” said Mwendwa while responding to a fan on twitter.

Startimes will broadcast games of the men and women national teams, top-flight league (FKFPL), and the second-tier league(NSL).

The deal is worth close to 1 billion shillings and will help bring back life to the Kenyan football scene.

Ahead of the upcoming friendly set for 10th October, coach Francis Kimanzi named a 34-man provisional squad with veteran goalkeeper Arnold Origi returning to the national team.

Barnsley’s Clarke Oduor also got a call-up.
