Kenyan defender Brian Mandela Onyango has joined South Africa side Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC (TMM FC) formerly known as Bidvest Wits.

Onyango has previously played for Maritzburg United and Santos FC in the Mzansi top-flight.

Locally, he played for Tusker FC, Poster Rangers and Nakuru Top Fry All Stars. He is also the assistant captain of National team Harambee Stars.

He has been a free agent after parting ways with Maritzburg.


TTM have also appointed Joel Masutha as the club’s head coach for the 2020/21 season.

Masutha will be assissted by Vhutani Lucky Nelukau, while Wasani Nemurendeni will be the club’s physiotherapist and Bosondo Stephane has been appointed as the goalkeeper coach.

TTM will begin the new season against SuperSport United in an MTN8 clash on Saturday, with former Black Leopards and Chippa United tactician Joel Masutha as the head coach.
