Francis Kimanzi recorded his first win as Wazito FC head coach after overseeing a 3-1 win over Vihiga United.
Wazito first scored through Boniface Omondi in the 14th minute after he headed home a rebound after Vihiga keeper Joe Bataro saved Joe Waithira’s shot.
A second goal came in the 28th minute from a welll taken Dennis Ng’ang’a free-kick.
Wazito added a third through Whyvonne Isuza who tapped home from a Kevin Kimani delivery.
Vihiga managed to pull one back courtesy of Norman Werunga who scored from a well taken free-kick. They were forced to finish the match with 10 men after Sammy Sindani saw red just after the halftime time whistle for confronting the match officials.
Friday’s win see Wazito return to winning ways after a huge 4-0 loss to Kariobangi Sharks on matchday one.
