Fans of Kisumu All Stars will have to wait a little longer to see the team record it’s first win in the Kenya Premier League. All Stars fell in their third match of the season after going down 2-0 to Millers Nzoia Sugar in a match played at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu.

Nzoia Sugar Scored early in the first half through Leonard Kasembeli who scored in the 4th minute. The Millers were not done as they yet again found the back of the net early in the second half this time through Collins Wakhungu who scored in the 48th minute.

With that win, Nzoia recorded their first win of the season after drawing one and losing one of it’s first two matches of the season. On the other hand, Kisumu All Stars are still winless after losing two and drawing one of it’s first three games this season.

Meanwhile, Slumboys Mathare United also recorded their first win of the season at the expense of soldiers Ulinzi Stars.

Clifford Alwanga’s late header ensured that Mathare bagged all the three points with a 2-1 win over Bernard Nyangweso’s Ulinzi in a match played at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

Mathare’s David Owino opened the scoring in the 49th minute before Daniel Waweru replied for the soldiers in the 75th.

It was however Clifford Alwanga’s late header that ensured Salim Ali’s boys took home all the three point. Alwanga rose highest to head in a Kevin Kimani free kick.
