Journey man Masoud Juma is upbeat following his move to Algeria’s most successful club JS Kabylie.
Masoud is a happy man and can’t wait to get started for his new side.
The former Kariobangi Sharks man has revealed that he looks forward to settling fast in his new team even as he aims to get the goals trickling in.
“Here in Algeria, I really want to settle and do my thing, which is to score goals. The competition is going to be top-notch here but I am confident of getting an opportunity to show what I can do,” Said Masoud as quoted by Nairobi News.
At Kabyile, Masoud will partner Burundian hitman Abdul Fiston Razak in attack.
In the Kenyan Football Scene, Masoud has featured for Shabana FC, Bandari FC, Sony Sugar FC and Kariobangi Sharks.
In 2017, he won the Kenya Premier League Golden Boot by netting a league-best 18 goals that season with Kariobangi Sharks hence helping the team finish third.
The 23 year old forward from Isiolo has also had stints with Cape Town City in South Africa, Dibba Al Fujairah in UAE and Al-Nasr Benghazi of Libya.
He was also part of the Kenya National Team Squad that made it to Egypt to represent the Nation at the Africa Cup of Nations.
His New Club, Jeunesse Sportive de Kabylie, known as JS Kabylie or JSK, is an Algerian football club based in Tizi Ouzou. The club are named after the cultural, natural and historical region that is home to the Berber-speaking Kabyle (the letters I ⵙ R on the badge are Berber for JSK). The club was founded in 1946 and its colours are green and yellow. Their home stadium, Stade du 1er Novembre 1954, has a capacity of 18,000 spectators. The club is currently playing in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1.
