FKF Premier League pacesetters AFC Leopards will hope to extend their 100% winning records when they host Western Stima at the Kasarani stadium this afternoon.

Ingwe have emerged as league favorites after winning their first three league matches and will fancy their chances coming up against a struggling Stima, who are yet to register a win this season. The Kakamega based side has lost two and drawn one match.

Ingwe’s red hot striker Elvis Rupia, who has dazzled the league with six goals, including Sunday’s hattrick against Sofapaka, is licking his fingers as he comes up against a Stima defense that has shipped in eight goals in three matches to leave the club second bottom only above Ulinzi Stars who have played only one match.

Leopards coach Anthony Kimani has no injury concerns. He however has a selection headache as the club’s new players continue to impress. Winger Peter Thiong’o will be hoping for more game time after impressing on his debut against Sofapaka.

In goal, Kimani will have to choose between new signing John Oyemba and Benjamin Ochan. The two goalkeepers have been rotated in the first three matches. Leopards has conceded only one goal in that period.

Leopards will also hope that midfield sensation Austin Odhiambo, who turned 21 on Thursday, can cap his bithday with a match-winning display.
