The Kinoru Stadium in Meru County is now ready to host international matches after undergoing a facelift.

The stadium which was completed earlier didn’t meet requirements to host international matches because there was no floodlights as well as necessary amenities.

The stadium which has been constructed to international standards at a cost of Sh900 million {$8 million}, is set to host athletics, football tournaments and other sporting activities.

Kinoru stadium renovation process were initiated in 2014 by the then Meru County Governor Peter Munya.
