Maurizio Sarri will have to wait a little longer for his maiden domestic honour as Juventus manager. This is after the old lady lost the Coppa Italia finals to Napoli.

Napoli were crowned Coppa Italia champions after beating Juventus 4-2 on penalties following their barren draw in regulation time at Stadio Olimpico.

Juventus’ Paulo Dybala saw his spot-kick saved while former Man City man Danilo sent his strike over the crossbar.

Arkadiusz Milik scored the winning spot-kick for Napoli to help the Naples based side secure its first piece of silverware since 2014.

Juventus will look to overcome the disappointment by lifting a ninth straight Scudetto when Serie A restarts, but the win means Napoli automatically qualify for the Europa League group stage next season.
