Vihiga United suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Mt. Kenya United United in an NSL match staged at the Camp Toyoyo grounds in Nairobi.

Mt. Kenya United opened the scoring through Kevin Rungu in the 21st minute before Eric Mata doubled their lead in the 33rd minute.

Godfrey Airo pulled one back for Vihiga in the 35th minute with the match ending 2-1 after the Mt. Kenya defense proved hard to break.

Elsewhere, Kisumu All Stars lost to Kibera Black Stars thanks to a solitary goal by Dudi who struck in the 59th minute at the Ligi Ndogo Grounds.
