What next for Dennis Oliech after his contract termination by Gor Mahia? The former Harambee Stars and AJ Auxxere Man seems to be exploring numerous options around him as he mauls a return to the field of play.
Oliech saw his contract by Gor Mahia terminated over what the club termed as Gross misconduct. The Club also cited Oliech’s ‘poor performances’ and alleged involvement in Political activities as the other reasons for his contract termination.
Well, Oliech is now ready for a fresh start and has set his sights on turning out for a number of KPL Sides most notably Wazito FC and Bandari FC.
“I’m ready to continue playing now. I can see teams like Wazito and Bandari struggling to score and I’m ready if they show interest in my services. Maybe they fear my demands but I’m ready to listen to their offers if they are interested,” Said Oliech as quoted by Nation Sports.
Oliech’s declaration might come as good news for both Wazito and Bandari FC who are currently struggling to get that killer instinct upfront.
Wazito have started the KPL Campaign on a rather slow note drawing it’s first two matches. The Ricardo Badoer owned side drew 1-1 with Nzoia Sugar in it’s first League match before playing to a barren draw with Western Stima in it’s second match.
Coast based Bandari FC also started the new KPL season with a barren draw away to Mathare United. The team was however able to make amends at the Continental stage after seeing off Tunisian side US Ben Guerdane in a CAF Confederations match staged at the Moi Sports Center, Kasarani.
Two headed goals by Yema Mwana and Abdallah Hassan were all Bandari needed to secure the crucial first-leg advantage, which now puts them in prime position for a place in the playoff round of the continent’s second-tier club competition.
With Oliech now a free agent, both Wazito and Bandari could consider making a move for the well travelled forward who scored 5 goals during his short stint at Gor Mahia.
