Harambee Stars striker Michael Olunga scored a first half brace to help his side Kashiwa Reysol record a 3-2 win over Shonan Bellmare in the J1.League.

Olunga scored in the 19th minute with a fine strike before getting his second through a penalty in the 44th minute.

Saturday’s win was the second recorded by Kashiwa this season and ended a run of three consecutive defeats.

The other win for the side came in their first game of the new season. They beat Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo 4-2 in a game that also saw Olunga grab a brace.

The former Gor Mahia man now has 4 goals in 5 games and his side is 12th on the J1.League standings.
